Commanders Act achieves AA+ rating on EU Score, the European digital sovereignty benchmark

13/04/2026 |

Commanders Act has been awarded an AA+ rating on eu-score.tech, the European reference platform for measuring the sovereignty of software publishers.

Launched on 18 June 2025, the EU Score platform has established itself in less than a year as the go-to benchmark for assessing the sovereignty of European software vendors. Modelled on the Nutri-Score system, EU Score assigns each solution a rating from C to AAA, calculated on seven objective criteria: registered headquarters, employee distribution, capital composition, subcontracting chain, ESG/DEI commitments, server location, and source code status.

Commanders Act is listed on the platform with a score of 563 points and an AA+ rating.

This result reflects the level of detail provided in our documentation: country-by-country employee breakdown across Europe, shareholder composition, registered office location, and full documentation of the subcontracting chain. “EU Score’s approach is far more relevant than previous initiatives,” says Michael Froment, CEO of Commanders Act. “It is not about waving a marketing flag – it is about getting into the details of what sovereignty actually means.”

Why this label matters for our clients

Marketing and data teams at our clients are increasingly asking questions about the sovereignty of their technology vendors – a trend that has accelerated markedly since 2025. These are legitimate questions: where does data flow? Who actually controls the consent, tracking and attribution layers?

At Commanders Act, answering these questions has been central to our value proposition since day one: server-side infrastructure hosted in Europe, European ownership, and teams based in France, Italy and Germany. EU Score now gives us a common, verifiable language to demonstrate it.
