When we use the services of third-party service providers, we enter into contracts that require them to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.
  • other third parties to the extent necessary to:
  1. comply with a judicial or administrative request or the application of a law;
  2. prevent unlawful use of our Sites and services;
  3. defend against claims by third parties;
  4. provide assistance in fraud prevention.

V. Measures for the protection and retention of personal data

The data collected and transmitted to our servers is secured via SSL to ensure that it is protected during transmission.

In general, we implement various technical and organisational security measures to ensure the security of your personal data (e.g. backup systems, firewalls, usernames and passwords, as well as access encryption).

The personal data we collect on our Sites is stored within the European Union.

Your personal data is kept for as long as necessary in compliance with each of the purposes defined above and within the limits defined by law.

The data collected for prospecting purposes is kept for 3 years from the last incoming contact with us.

Regarding personal data relating to your subscriptions, we keep it for a longer period of time in order to comply with legal obligations, such as tax matters.

VI. What are your rights regarding your personal data?

You have the right, at any time, to request:

  • Opting out of our marketing communications
  • Access to your data;
  • An electronic copy of your data;
  • Changing your data if it is incomplete or inaccurate;
  • Erasure or restriction of the processing of your data.

COMMANDERS ACT collects data, which may include personal data, from your browser when you use our Sites.

Cookies and tags are used to collect this data, which may include your:

  1. IP address;
  2. unique identification cookie, information cookie and information about the content of your equipment to access certain characteristics;
  3. unique identification number of the equipment and type of equipment;
  4. domain, browser type, and language;
  5. operating system and settings;
  6. country and time zone;
  7. previously visited sites;
  8. information about your actions on our Sites such as click and preference behavior;
  9. access times and referral URLs.

We inform you that third parties, such as Google, may also collect data from our Sites through cookies, third-party plug-ins and widgets.

These third parties collect data directly from your browser and the processing of this data is subject to their own privacy policies.

We use cookies and tags to:

  • follow the terms of use of our Sites,

Three categories of cookies are generally used on our Sites:

X. Specifics relating to the Commanders Act Assistant Browser Extension

This data includes cookies, IP addresses, data identifying your Internet browser and its version, and web beacons. The browser extension reads cookie information (name, expiration, storage domain, httpOnly Flag, Secure Flag; cookie values are not read and stored) and sends it to Commanders Act’s servers to create anonymous cookie reports.

The browser extension collects data to analyze the configuration and installation of the Commanders Act platform on websites (Container, Variables, Cookies) and displays it inside a widget of the Chrome extension.

This information is not stored on a server and is only processed in the browser.

The Commanders Act Assistant browser extension collects the following data: Cookie information: The extension reads cookie information, including name, expiration date, storage domain, httpOnly flag, and Secure flag. This data is transmitted securely to our servers via SSL and is used to build an anonymous cookie dictionary for the cookie scanner functionality of Commanders Act.

The data collected is 100% anonymous and is not shared with third parties. The value of cookies is never collected.

Use of Collected Information

The data collected about cookies is used to build an anonymous cookie dictionary for the Cookie Scanner functionality of Commanders Act. This dictionary allows us to enrich the information of a list of cookies by site, which can be consulted by our customers via the Cookie Scanner feature.

Data processing

The Commanders Act Assistant browser extension processes the following data directly in the user’s browser:

Installation and configuration data

This includes data related to the installation of the Commanders Act platform on websites (containers, variables, tags).

This information is displayed in a widget in the Chrome extension and is not stored on a server.

It is processed only in the browser in order to provide real-time information to the user.

Use of processed data

The processed data regarding installation and configuration is used to analyze the settings of the Commanders Act platform on the sites you visit. This information is displayed to the user in the browser extension and is not transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.

XI. Adloop Specifics by Commanders Act

In 2023, Commanders Act acquired Adloop and is now the publisher of the Adloop platform.

Users of our services (trial and customers)

When you use our services, through our Websites or app, we collect and process:

  • Information you provide to us, such as your name and email address;
  • Data about how you use our services, including your browsing and clicks on our Sites or app;
  • Records of communications between you and our staff;
  • Information collected through third parties, such as through Google API services, who may transmit personal data from your Google account to us. Please see Google’s Privacy Policy for more information. You can revoke our access to your data through Google’s Security Settings.

Cookies Adloop

Adloop places a cookie in the browser of each visitor arriving at the Data Controller’s web property. This cookie stores a randomly generated pseudonymous identifier that measures the frequency of visits to our Sites and where they come from. Visitor data is aggregated and analysed by algorithms in order to help the Data Controller optimise its marketing actions. Adloop also places anonymous third-party cookies in order to measure exposure to different advertisements.

Purposes of data processing :

  • To provide the requested services;
  • Monitor and improve our services (optimization of our Sites, improvement of ergonomics, reduction of bugs);
  • Communicate with you, including for marketing purposes.

When a user account is deleted from a subscription, we process your name and email address and collect your new contact information via third-party providers. This data is used to continue to communicate with you, including for marketing purposes.

Google data and connection to Google platforms

Google apps are widely used by digital marketing professionals. As a result, you’ll likely need to connect your Google accounts to Adloop (including, but not limited to, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Drive, Google Data Studio, BigQuery, or Campaign Manager).

Depending on the connected applications, Adloop can perform two types of processing:

  • The recovery of raw data from your connected Google accounts (which may include personal data), integrated as is in Adloop’s marketing data warehouse;
  • The extraction of data you selected from the Adloop marketing data warehouse to Google apps for further viewing or processing.

Please refer to the Google Product Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for any questions you may have about this data. The access you’ve granted to Adloop can be revoked through Google’s security settings. For more details, see this Google help page.
